Catherine is the Administrative Assistant to Dr. José Fortes, Director of the ACIS Laboratory.

Catherine moved to Gainesville from Richmond, Virginia seven years ago with her family. Prior to UF, she worked for a biotech company in Progress Park, Florida as an assistant to the grants administrator and to the president. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Catherine is very proud to be part of the Gator Nation.
